About NRI News Now
NRI News Now is an English-language news site for non-resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and their families. We report on official changes that affect them: income-tax rules and forms, Reserve Bank of India directions on NRI accounts, property rules, OCI and visa rules, and remittance rules in India and in the countries where many NRIs live.
What makes us different
Every story starts from a primary document, such as a Gazette notification, an RBI circular, a ministry order or a foreign government's regulation. We name that document and link it in a marked Official source box near the top of the story, so you can check what we say against the original. Each story then explains what changed, who it affects, what it means for you in practical steps, and the dates that matter.
