Corrections policy

Last updated:

We try hard to get every detail right. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and openly.

How to report an error

Email contact@nrinewsnow.com with:

  • the link to the story;
  • what you believe is wrong; and
  • if possible, a link to the official document that shows the correct position.

What we do

  • The editor reviews every correction request against the official source, normally within two working days.
  • If a fact is wrong, we correct the story and add a dated note at the end. The note says what was wrong and what we changed. We do not quietly change facts.
  • Minor fixes that do not change meaning, such as typos or broken links, may be made without a note.
  • When a rule changes after publication, we update the story, refresh its "Updated" time and explain the new position in the text.
  • If a story cannot be fixed by correction, we may withdraw it and leave a note explaining why.
